Trying new things...

So I tried the Jicama chips, and while they were ok I wouldn't go out of my way to give up my cauliflower.

I tried the mac and cheese today too! Yummy with my veg'n crumbles! Or without!While it was yummy it did take a lot of work, and with my mindset (already veg'n and picky, and creating dinner for the family separate from myself)...I don't think I would make it again. I do have another packet of it, going to use the noodles for a recipe I found, grind them up etc. 

I cooked the noodles longer like others before me had suggested. That didn't work out so well so I let them soak in the hot water, that helped to make them tender. I did mine in the microwave, 5 mins with a bunch of water in a bowl, then let sit for 5 mins. Then dumped all the water out, used very hot tap water to make the sauce in the bowl with the noodles. Tasted like trader joe's microwave singles mac and cheese. In the end to much work for me for an everyday thing, but as a something to do once in a while oh heck yes!

So I decided to try the pineapple banana drink...if I close my eyes tight enough I can almost taste a banana laffy taffy. Lol
